2013-07-27 // 20:47:23 g. just reading your blog (with help of google translate...) verrry interesting observations regarding the 8x10! for the integrals with lage format, people did it before, but I am glad you write about it and describe it so well. I've taken a similar approach (masks in the holder, simply because i got the camera with the rare holders and such, didn't wanted to adapt the camera for an international back anymore..) with this one »link lens was a very foggy kodak anastigmat 203mm (predecessor of the ektar). Yeah, what to say... I got the mentor for the movements, but with the size of px, is really tricky.. nepumug had to be verrry patient ;)
with an int. back, it's more easy. one can simply put a sheet of pz into an empty pack of a 4x5 pack film. gets in position and fixed perfectly.
for the framing with the mentor, i taped a cut-out frame of a polaroid with scotch on the glass. not only for the framing - but also, because the white border, with the thick part at the bottom, has an influence on the framing. that said, i get the best framed pictures on integral film with this camera.
ok, just giving back a bit..
should go out now, it's warm!
