Raymond, to get the negatives flat you can use the glas of a cheap non-glare picture frame to avoid newton rings.

is this a scan of the negative?...what type of scanner do you have?

im looking into getting one.

I have an Epson V700, which is OK, but you need better negative holders than the ones that comes with the scanner, otherwise it won´t be flat and therefore not sharp (works fine for web though). I´ve heard that these: »link are good. I think g. uses them...
