how long did you cook the film before flashing it?
btw, fantastic image!

^ i've let it simmer for about half to two third of the recommended time, then put it a bit under full throttle with the studio flash. put in dark for a bit afterwards, then cleared. actually, the negs work as slides now :o (the sharpness of the yamasaki congo is insane. i should try to unscrew the lens a bit to gain a bit more of softness. no idea if it works with that lensdesign, but.. ;-) )

The stern look in your eye tells of your determination to get the perfect balance of light and shadow in this one.

^ more the balance of the camera. I could see myself reflecting in the lens and i wanted camera and hand to be really perfectly parallel to the the frame. we were not using tripods. again.
