I think that's very true - soft focus can be so effective at suggesting memories, dreams, visions etc....

I love this one. The softness is so dreamy and beautiful.

^ Thank you, For the last 20 years I've been photographing landscapes, trying to insure that the entire scene was rendered in sharp focus. Lately I've been experimenting with softer focus, and I find that with it there can a longer depth of field that can extend into the mind.
