When I use expired 669 in daylight, it never comes out in these turquoise shades. It all just looks rather normal. I wonder why. I tend to use the largest apertures and shortest exposure times. Do you think it might have anything to do with that? Or perhaps my packs are just less expired.

^ well, i don't really know... i think it also depends on the colour of what you're actually shooting. On the seaside series, the skies were always turquoise/bright blue, so maybe that's why. [in contrast, the red curtain and dress in the interior series turned everything into purple/pink] The expiration date here was only jan 2009, so can't say it's very expired... But on the whole, i find each pack i open to be rather unpredictable! Esp when they're very expired: some of my expired packs do awesome bright colours; others only give out some boring fading purples, regardless of what i shoot... But all in all, it's always fun! :) |
