look through them while firing next to one you know the speed. possible to judge just with the eye. maybe not 100%, but close enough that you'll get something with film.

handheld, like no tripod? 3000ASA should give about 1/30 in the sun. synchronized flash on x-socket for low light.
hm. good idea, actually. i think i still have a cu-5 shutter somewhere.. :-)

^
i've got some shutters but no idea on their speed.... gotta waste some film...

just going through old files on my computer... another seller is fuk1255 - but unfortunately, he hasn't offered something in the past. he also has a website, but again unfortunately, only information, and all in german : »link

i still think best are the shutters of the cu-5: they have B and i think also T, a cable release socket, and i guess one could find screw-in lens caps with the right diameter (in place of the lens element) where one could drill a hole in.

(have to admit though i personally still use the combination of darkslide and quick finger release with felt timing ;)

i do use finger-shutter too... but sometimes I dream of a real handheld pinhole. Still working on it.

the sellers name is skinkphoto. i'm pretty sure he also had shutters once, but can't find right now. but this mounted in a standard shutter would be most elegant: »link (the cu-5 also have nice shuttes, and best, with 'POLAROID' written on it ;) , not sure if it's copal 0 though, i always mix the sizes up ;)
hm. the guy got quite professional and more expensive...
tripod mount - not sure. glue something on it, somewhere. tricky thing is where, on the one side is the buttonrelease, on the other the film gets out.. maybe a pice of wood on the back, then use the tripodhead in an angle. i know tripod mounts (just the thread) to mount in the wood are available, i just don't know where.

congrats!
i can second the tripod mount, i blurred most of my shots back then, and though i like handheld pinhole, it somehow looked worse than with packfilm. don't know why.. maybe sx-70 just needs good lines to render color well.
there's a guy at ebay germany who is making pinholeshutters, btw.
(and you know this site »link right?)

good to hear from orezemit through this.

yep ! i know this site. A bit too technical for me, i'd rather use inspiration and tape ;-) but this time i'll try to understand these complicated solutions....
pinhole shutters ! that's what i'm longing for ! I've got some shutter, probably from mp4... but they are too fast (1/30 ? 1/60 ?) please give me the ebay link....
and what would you like for the tripod mount ?.......
