have you seen jawbox?
i saw burning airlines twice, We (with my last band) should have played with them in paris, but i felt sick and go to the hospital two days before the show, too bad.... :(

yes, i heard about the burn to shine dvd series, i didn't see one yet...... is it good?
and i of course will order the new channels, hope there will be a pre-order, i can't wait that day :).

^ Yes, I did see Jawbox live twice during their Dischord days :-) I never did catch them after they signed on to Atlantic or whatever it was - I loved that major label release of theirs, though...do you have a copy of My Scrapbook of Fatal Accidents that Kim released on DeSoto a few years back? That's a good one not to be missed in a Jawbox collection. The one time I saw Burning Airlines I was disappointed. I think they toured with Kid Dynamite which were so much better that night in my opinion...maybe I wasn't in the mood for Airlines, who knows... I haven't seen any of the Burn to Shine films, but I will see the one filmed in Portland in a few weeks in a movie theater, I hope.

^ Yes, I'll be in New York City when that album is released and already plan to go record shopping that very day for that release amongst others :-) Did you get to see McLusky live? I only caught them once but I'm glad I did. They seemed a little feisty and restless, which worked for their music. Have you heard of Brendan Canty's Burn to Shine series of movies? ^ That's hilarious - yes, three times - I'm serious. I don't know *what* you were doing there, going back and forth on that image...if you get email-notices generated from picture comments you ought to be able to confirm my three comments for that one picture for yourself if you look at today's email. I did notice the television becoming more refined between versions, yes. Floyd Landis approves of the improved television as well, by the way.

^ Thank you again. I have to admit that the title is plagiarized. I got it from an album title by the late, great Welsh band McLusky. It fit the photo like a glove, though.
