(i like to imagine that roof there is made of sugar, but i suppose it is just painted white?)

^ first time in 1991, last time 10 years ago... it is the pellets depot roof, not so interesting: early 20th century buildings do not exist anymore (and also this sugar roof ;)

A friend just told me a story about how, before Brooklyn's Domino sugar factory closed, a man who worked there at night would sweep up all the sugar that fell on the factory floor and sell it in big containers around her neighborhood. they called him The Sugarman. ;))

^ I worked seasonally in this sugar factory for three years and I can say I met many Sugarmen! ;)) Oh, not me! Please, call me Snowman!

^ and I met a sugarman that under the pretext of sweeting the coffee (!) was used to carry away a quarter sack of sugar... ;-)
