I guess what I was trying to say earlier (in a very clumsy way) is that there is a definite aestetic there, a vision, it runs through all your photographs. And it resonates with other things that I identify as a particular sensitivity native to your part of the world. For instance, I am listening to a magnificent musical score right now, Englabörn, by Johann Johannsson, that I came accross surfing the web (a website had used one of his music for the main spread of their site). And I see/hear/feel it there too. That 'je ne sais quoi' that fascinates me completely in the cultures of the northern hemisphere, to put it loosely. And that 'je ne sais quoi', a view of the world, an aestetic, a sense of what lingers in the material world, I see it in your photographs. I envy you for such talent (although I am sure there is also a LOT of hard work involved). Keep up the good work.

Donīt even now where to begin... but iīll try:

First of all you didnīt come across as clumsy at all, i just feel deeply honoured by that you took the time and the effort to really reflect a lot over my photographs. And even more so after this comment!

Second; itīs difficult for me to see that my photographs "belongs" to a certain culture or hemisphere. But when I think about it I understand what you mean - for instance Sally Mann, one of my greatest heroines, absolutely belongs to a certain hemisphere - and it makes me feel even more complimented that someone can see such a thing in my pictures...
And of course I must admit to an aesthetic view that I feel is difficult for me to describe in words, but I think (or hope) it comes across in the photographs themselves. To me that aesthetic tries to describe the feeling of time passing, of each moments frailty and my own fear of loosing these moments. And my photographs is an attempt to keep these moments as "memories" even if I therefore sometimes have to arrange them a bit to meet the standards of my wanted memories.

Third: Thanks a lot for these comments, your words means that I get through to someone!
