2008-09-09 // 05:29:49 Meg oh wow.. this is so much cooler looking than the shoe tree. i can't imagine what it's like to be 1,500 years old! nice use of this film by the way. it's got some creepy vibes to it that are lovely
^
i didn't see a single pair of shoes in this beast of a tree. i was amazed when i heard about this tree & just had to go see it. i guess 1,500 years is just an estimate but still it's the oldest living thing i'll ever see. the vibe was peaceful.
2008-07-23 // 22:49:42 LEjovik wait... this is in georgia!
i am in NE FL... i think this means i must pay this tree a visit.
^
my bad on the location, but it's good for you since it's probably not too far from you. it's located on John's Island, SC, which is about 20-30 minutes south of Charleston.
going to fix the location now.
2008-07-23 // 22:48:14 LEjovik this is haunting...
it will follow me to sleep tonight.
excuse me...
but...
are those boards holding the tree limbs up???
limbs themselves?
either or... it makes it all the more to me.

it's not so haunting in daylight. i was glad i had this film with me though. wish i'd had some choco at the time.
yes, you can't see too many of them in this photo but there were lots of posts, both wood and metal, holding up many of the limbs.
