Perhaps with whole people hanging frozen in it, preserved forever at the place where they drowned; hair and clothes floating up around them, and air bubbles escaping from their mouths.

^ :-) but what would happen if the ice ever melted!? time-traveller? ice-zombies? or just another lost memory!?
