Damn, you are a strong portraitist. Okay, not sure how to say what I want to say. I’m bound to fail. Let me try:
Some people turn the camera around and take interesting self portraits, but really all that is happening is that the camera is pulling their face inside and putting it on film and shooting out a picture. The camera makes them look good and interesting. The camera does most of the work.
But with you it’s the reverse. You pull the *camera* & yeah, you just grab the camera with your eyes and you pull it right into your head, right into your brain, right into your heart. These are powerful and they go beneath your skin. Really glad you share your + i + images. They must be very personal.
And yeah, like my darling sis said that time a few months ago, "booombooom iz alive."
