2007-12-13 // 18:12:42 desao My word! I definitely need one of these for her indoors. 4 christmas presents in 1. And shes only expecting a balaclava! Ill be in the good books until Spring!
2007-12-13 // 16:27:55 desao A snood is a highly utilitarian, three in one item of head and kneck wear:
Position 1: Wear it in the manner of a scarf, to keep the wintery nip away from your outer throat and shoulders.
Position 2: Extend the "slack" so it now covers your head and ears as well as your neck. Basically youre creating the most basic form of balaclava. As demonstrated in your lovely photograph.
Position 3: Once again, moving up the head. Pull the snood right up, so it sits atop your head, this time mimicking the humble Bob hat. In this situation, i find it useful to have a piece of cord at hand, so as to tie up the gaping end, thus keeping out the frosty chills of the season.
I hope youve found this informative. And if i may say so, although, as i mentioned earlier, the Snood is at heart a utilitarian garment, i do believe you have created a highly decorative look with it, and for that, i commend you. Good work fella.
