but I'm also picky.
yet, sometimes more feeling can get achieved to go the opposite way (which of course still is in the meaning of 'technique is just a tool' ;-)

I really like this photo. It's like sitting there, being fixed to the view. And I sure wouldn't be if there wouldn't be the distorsions of the cheap lens.

I don't care if a photo is 'good' as long as it touches me. There are millions of 'good' photos that don't tell anything to me. This does.

^ thank you, that's kind :-) I am picky with my own work, but I agree with you: technique only goes so far, what a picture feels like is what matters.
