Gosh, I love this. It's muggy summer at the moment. New York is slowly suffocating. I do wish I could wrap myself in scarves & ancient sweaters and step right into this marvelous picture.
It looks a bit like a toy to me, a Christmas fair carousel in miniature; or else a fancy, elaborate music box, the sort of thing you might find tucked in the back of an antique shop.
