Thanks a LOT brother! Now I've REALY decided to get me one of those red filters. Do you prefer anyone???
In the beginning I was quite strict to myself about "scanning is the only link between the pola and the web", But have realized that that don't always bring out "the good" in the picture.
I read you!

:o) yeah i just got a cheap one from 7dayshop.com about a fiver... they also sell the fuji film, but not had the 3000 in recently... when im using my 250 or 450 i just bluetack a circle of red lighting gel over the clip on uv filter that i have, and then i put four times the thickness of the gel over the light meter so that the exposure is more to my taste, as even with the lightness dialed up, they seem to shoot really dark to my eye... prob the meter is a bit too old or something.. anyways, happy snappin!

Fabulous compo!
But, I have never got THAT much contrast out of the FP3000. Can you admit to have tweaked the contrast before posting it??? If not I probably have troubles falling to sleep...

hey, cheers, yeah this shot is pretty contrasty! i use a red filter over the lens to boost contrast... its actually a bit over exposed too, some of those white tiles are disappearing! so sleep well!

ps i'm not going to sit here and say that i never use photoshop though! i think most people do, i spend more time trying to make my crap scans look like the actual pola does!

Fab portrait and absolutely great contrast: I have to get a hold of some FP-3000B!

cheers for that... yeah its def my favorite b&w film, its so contrasty, and also you get the negative that you can scan and invert to get cool borders, the Neg also tends to have more info in it to, ie if areas are blown out on the print, the neg tends to have the detail... i got 200 shots worth on ebay for about £60, but its nearly all gone! DAMN!
