YOU BOUGHT A LIGHT METER!!! Damn. It's okay, I've been thinking about doing the same. As for the centering, I can never quite nail it with my 600SE, either. I know you use the little dots after about 10 feet, but it's so hard to get dead on. I also have the original manual if you don't - I can run a copy for you.

^ oh yes. please. thank you. and sadly, i did break down and buy a light meter. and fucking arond with it, i realize, i don't really need one. oh well. i'm gonna keep it just in case.
