that's pretty. do you think there's a difference between freezing the development and making an overexposure?
don't worry, i don't expect an answer, i can't even answer that question myself.

Not in this case, really. But if I COULD freeze it exactly where I want it, so very, very early on when only the most delicate lines exist, it's the difference between having lines etched in (freeze) and burned out (overexpose). Not that there is a difference . ..

all I can say is WOW, Tod. And it's not only a proof of concept, it's a fabulous image.

Great effect Tod! Love the title of the shot too. I might have to try this myself. That look in his eyes? Yes, I recognise it in my kids eyes too. Do you think we need to form some sort of group?

I like where you are going with this. I thought "I wish it would just stop right now" earlier today. You were obsessed with that at the nerd out, I am surprised it took you this long.

I know, what with my Pola-obsession more or less dwarfing hte rest of my life. That look in his eyes? It says, "Please Dad, look at me directly, without that mechanical eye you keep glued to your foreheard. I miss you, pops. I miss the real you. Come back."
