looking at this again and again [purposefully slouching over my computer for aesthetic value] i see her facial expression becoming more and more awkward & empathetic - like, "wash your shirt you pitiful man." haha. i jest. anywho, is she tall in real life? she looks tall.

^ Well, I don't recall, actually. I encountered her in three ways, none of which gave me an inkling. 1. Sitting on a couch by herself before the reading. 2. Far away at a podium. 3. Sitting behind a table signing books. Okay, I'm going to revisit early videotape stuff in my head and recall that she seems tallish.
