2007-03-09 // 23:52:04 David_S oh post it .. please :-)
but in all seriousness .. i have often submitted images only to be amazed at what people like and what they don't .. and i for one would be fascinated to see the image you felt was best.

I very definitely will, there are just a couple other polaroids I want to "get rid of" first.
And yeah, I agree. It's very interesting - fascinating, really (well, sometimes). The thing is: I'm not sure if I, personally, still think it's the best. Though not because I reckon people will continue to like this one better (even though I do think they will!), but because.. the other one was an instant favourite, much like most of my favourite photos (photos by other people, I mean)..
.. while this one is more "interesting" (.. probably). I just didn't realise this right away because I don't usually pay much attention to photos that don't manage to catch [the better part of] my attention FAST, and I don't "study" or analyse pictures that I'm not already interested in for *some* reason. (.. I seem to be looking at pictures differently than [many?] [most?] other people. I don't get engaged by the "stories" they [supposedly] tell, but by other elements; the stories only come later - if at all..)
2007-03-09 // 01:11:34 David_S now this is my kind of shot, beautifully done

Merci, merci!
I took another polaroid that evening, which I haven't posted yet.. - I wanted to save it because I thought it was the best of them all. Now I'm not so sure anymore!! O:
It's more beautiful, yes, (still kind of weird, but "prettier") but now that I've seen/read the responses to this shot, I don't think it can.. "convince" as much as this one here can. Uh-oh!
2007-03-03 // 18:34:43 Urizen This made me remember the ants of "un chien andalou"... disturbing picture... i love it, of course.

I've heard of the film (of course!!), but I've never seen it. /: (I'm always behind with films. I'm usually pretty up-to-date music-wise, but *always* behind with films. I guess this'll never change, argh.)
