I met this man on a bench and asked to take his picture...I snapped a few as he was chatting away to me...and this is my favourite- he was looking at the large clock talking about all the hours he must have spent sitting there since his wife died. If felt so authentically East End...he was born three minutes walk away and had spent 75 years in this area and had watched it changed...saddening but very real....
