Pop singers really must stop using the word "rock".. as in "You rock, girl!" I hearby declare that the word "rock" can only be used by those who know and cherish its meaning. I submit a quiz that must be passed before you may use the word Rock as an adjective. Question #1: Name at the makes of at least two major guitar amplifiers.
Question #2: What type of guitar did Jimi play?
Question #3: Name at least two bands that Nirvana ripped off. ( I am not taking anything away from Kurt here, but he didn't exactly invent the sound that became grunge).
Question #4: Name at least three famous rock stars that died in their prime.
Question #5: How many albums or CD's do you own? If you own less than 500 albums, you make quit now, you do not rock or know rock.
Question #6: How many cd's have you bought in the last 6 months that were not released on a major corporate label? If less than 10, quit now, you do not rock, don't love rock or know rock. You are a sell out.
