The music doesn't play here anymore
This was Uncle Leyton's organ. He was a welsh chapel organ player and deacon and he died three weeks ago.
Last weekend, I spent the day with his widow, my Aunty Mary and went to her house.
Leyton was very particular, and had a "mania" for ties as everyone in the family said. Just before I took this I was upstairs with Aunty Mary looking for something in a drawer in her room when she burst into tears. It had been one of Leyton's drawers and he still had all these shirts folded inside pullovers, with a tie to match neatly places around each folded neck of the shirts.
Mary said she hadn't been in his music room since he had died and she asked me if I wouldn't mind putting a cover over it...I took this just before I closed the door on his love in life...he doesn't play here anymore.
