The tree and the city
This was the view I would see every morning from my aunt's house where I grew up- city for as far as the eye could see; the dome; canary wharf etc... the view was punctuated by this single tree sitting on the reservoir opposite. I always liked the contrast of nature and the manmade- if you look cloely you can pick out many a london landmark. This however, was a landmark of my growing up...
I went back for a visit this year and the tree has been chopped down, so it is only this Polaroid that remains...
