I'd seen Ginny twice in two years, each time at Andy's birthday party. Figured it was time I spent more than a single photo every 365 days on her.
We talked about how she got her job with a shitty portfolio, how her ex-boyfriend is an asshole, cameras(of course), and meth.
Walking from her house to the park a mile away was a trip through one of the hundreds of tiny suburbias that surround LA proper. Lots of well-manicured lawns, lots of white people giving me the evil eye, lots of large dogs that barked long and loud, most likely because they could not give me the evil eye.
