me on the rooftop of the abandoned BOBLO boat docks building in Detroit... my friend, Albert, shot the image with his digi... I editted the shot and printed it... made a slide of it... and made this Polaroid... so it's only half-mine... I suppose.
This building is very sentimental to me. BOBLO was an amusement park that shut down in 1991 [I think]. I went there every single year as a child, You had to take a boat to get to the park that was on the island.
FUNNY STORY:
One time I had strep throat when I went there and the boat ride made me sick. When everyone was piling out of the boat I barfed all over everybody and it was red... because I had just got done sucking on a popsicle! LOL... I had no fun that day... just sat there with my grandma while everyone else had fun... boo!
Ahhhh... memories!
