it was freezing. my camera has got a bit bent. anyway, that, or the cold, made nothing happen when i pressed the red button :|
so yes, we grabbed the digital and this is a screenshot of what we did manage to capture before we couldn't feel our fingers anymore. the vignetting and blueygreen hue is the effect of taking a picture from the laptop (probably at the wrong angle) - the original is not much like this (much stronger variation in colour and subtle differences between fore and background), although i tweaked the contrast on the digital image *slightly* to make sure the antlers stood out (i knew it would go dark at the top).
what i mean is, i didn't edit the polaroid. it's seen here as was when it popped out my camera.
anyway, hope this isn't considered cheating - i really did try to take a polaroid at the time!
