It was getting dark
like night had hit
and no one mentioned it,
we all just decided to wait
at the Mercury Plant
the place they made TNT
by the old papermill
along the dried out river,
I looked over the darkness
looking for any signs of life,
then someone lit a match
and all hell broke loose
