PEEL PUSH - THE OVEN EGGSPERIMENT
(anotha HOWTO NOT!)

..having had the impression after the previous experiments ( »link ) that a *dry* pic would solve the peeling problems ( »link ) , I tried to speed up the drying process, by putting the picture into the hot-air oven (SIEMENS HB32AC69 - hot-air mode, 50° celsius), right after development (approx. 1 hour after exposure)

I wanted to document the (as I thought) increasing peelability after 1,2,3 hours of oven-drying..

but as it turned out, the oven-approach is a complete failure - and a waste of time and your precious images!

from left to right:
above: original scanned 1 hour after exposure
below: after 30, 60, 240 minutes in da oven

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, FOLX!

as it turned out, the process of heating/drying only speeds up the blue-ecification process.

the colour-shift to blue, that normally takes 10-15 days to appear, happens within less than an hour in the oven...

now this leaves us with the fassscinating question, if it's the heat or the drying that causes the blue-ecification!
..gonna try cool-drying in the next eggsperiment
stay tunad!

(..or salmoned - if you're in the happy position of not having to count calories)
