When I was Five, I Wanted to be a Paleon
FULL TITLE: "When I was Five, I Wanted to be a Paleontologist, Though I Mistakenly Thought the Term was 'Archaeologist' "
Subsequently, I developed a fascination for archaeology, in particular Egyptology, one that was boosted by viewing Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom some years later. While my passions for these career paths cooled, I did convince a notably wonderful English professor to give me credits for a self-taught course in hieroglyphics...in fact, I still have the Wallace Budge texts on my bookshelf. Next year, Egypt for sure. Can't wait to take the Polaroids to Cairo and beyond.
If you've read this far, then I suppose you may want to know that this was a test shot for my new Kiev 88, checking light. When I finally nailed the light and clicked the Kiev's shutter, I found I'd placed the wrong/empty film back on. Ah....learning to shoot with non-Polaroids has been, thus far, painful.
Yes, it's a shit shot, but I need you thousands who want to be my lover what I look like these days. A bit older, a bit more worn, but it's in the creases and patina that you'll find the substance. God, it sounds like I'm selling myself. No, I'm just listening to a particularly bizarre track right now and it's making my fingers jump over the keys, unlinked completely from my conscious folds.
