Rusting illiteracy
In Grenada while we were there, hundreds of spray painted campaigning messages and posters could be seen on almost every street corner.
One politician had a heart as her logo, and one had a house. Since Carriacou has an extremely high illiteracy rate, you didn't see many campaign posters with words on, most were like this- a house with an X beside it so that you could put your 'X' next to a symbol rather than next to a name...
