My students and friends--Diana, Bryan, Chris, Sebastian, and Theyab--presented me with a beautiful Diana +Edelweiss camera, a Fujifilm Instax Mini Back, and 10 packs of film at my gallery show opening! I was totally surprised and humbled!

I moved to Denton in 2006, and I totally fell in love with the faded out, unique water towers. I've even taken a lot of photos of one of them, because it's very close to my home: (this is my fave :

However, the city has recently repainted them all with a really ugly, generic texas flag and "Denton" motif that MAKES ME MAD! Hello! Denton is not Plano, OK?
Anyway, this is the one water tower that is still faded and unique. How long will it remain that way?
