Lost in London...
the boy set up home on an abandoned houseboat. Many years passed in this idyll surrounded, as he was, by a nature reserve to the right, industrial clutter to his left, the slow motion of the water beneath him and London's permanent blue skies above.
Passers by often stopped to gaze at the boy and sometimes they even tried to take his picture. When this happened he would stand very still and hoped they couldn't see him. He learned this trick watching nature programmes.
