Take me to the ice rink
For some reason these "ice rink" shots kinda make me think of "Catcher in the Rye" by Salinger... December in the 50s, NYC is covered in snow, and at some point Holden Caulfield takes his girlfriend to the ice rink and then they go see a movie or something. Then at the very end of the book, he also takes his little sister to the carousel, and from what i remember the scene is bloody sad, cold and beautiful. Eventhough i dont really like these shots, im just grateful that they reminded me of that :)
