Once again, this is Amber. She, like so many of us, is trapped in this wee town. Unlike many, she has grand plans to scurry north to Portland, Oregon - home of so many of California's most creative and inspired. That giant sucking sound we all hear so much about - it's really the sound of Oregon draining California's soul. Once there, it's quite likely that she will find a way to subsume the machinations of the entire metro, bending them to her will (benign, don't worry, PDXers) and banishing once and for all, the indie-mope scene that has transformed thousands of otherwise healthy young men and women into hunchbacked wusses. Indeed, Amber will singlehandedly save Portland from becoming . . . San Francisco! Oh, wait. . that's MY dream. Back to Amber - once there she will likely join the multitudes of amazing designers in PDX and help make the world a better place through beneficent design.
Oh, and YES I know this is over-saturated. . .my scanner is NOT making me happy and PShop correcting just darkened things. . it's only a bit off but enough to irk me.
